    Where it all started

    Khama Billiat arrived in South Africa in 2010 to join Ajax Cape Town from Zimbabwean outfit Caps United. After three successful years, Billiat moved to Mamelodi Sundowns where he made it big under the tutelage of Pitso Mosimane.

    Billiat is one of the top players in the PSL due to his eye for goal. The now 29-year-old has scored 79 goals across all competitions, including 10 in the Caf Champions League for both Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs over the last few seasons.

    Billiat has played 270 games for Ajax Cape Town, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Kaizer Chiefs since 2010. So far, he has registered 77 assists across all competitions for all three teams.

    The Zimbabwe international has won a total of seven trophies in his nine-year stint in South Africa. He won three league titles, Caf Champions League and Caf Super Cup tiles, Telkom Knockout Cup and the Nedbank Cup titles all with Mamelodi Sundowns between 2013 and 2018.

    What made Billiat an asset to any of the teams he has played for, is his versatility - the Amakhosi man has been able to deliver the goods in several different positions on the pitch - Right Wing, Left Wing, Centre-Forward, and Second Striker among other positions.

    Individual accolades

    Billiat has won numerous man of the match awards from during his time with Ajax Cape Town to present. However, there are several top accolades he won which he would probably remember for the rest of his career, including Goal Player of the Year, PSL Player of the Season, Players' Player of the Season, and Midfielder of the Season in 2016 with Sundowns. Billiat finished as runner-up to Denis Onyango for the Caf African Player of the Year based in Africa award for 2016.
