VIDEO: Heung-Min Son's advice for Harry Kane! Bayern Munich striker asks former Tottenham team-mate for words of wisdom he would pass on to younger self

"So grateful to Sonny for being open and offering some advice to his younger self when going through a tough setback.

"The more we talk about mental health, the more we can make positive change – together.

Kane asked Son that if he could go back in time and give a piece of advice to his younger self after a setback, what piece of advice would he give himself, and why?

"Don't worry about the hard time, it will go away," Son started. "So all you have to do is remember why you started football and be grateful, work hard, have fun and the better time will come for sure.

Kane's Instagram video comes a day after Jude Bellingham opened up about feeling vulnerable on World Mental Health Day on Friday, 10th October. Bellingham admitted he used to name search himself on social media during his time at Birmingham and that the increase of sites such as X, Facebook and Instagram means there remains a stigma about talking about mental health.

Son, meanwhile, left Tottenham over the summer for MLS side LAFC. The decision to leave Spurs came shortly after he captained the club to their first major piece of European silverware since 1984 and brought an end to a 10-year association with the north London side.

Since jetting stateside, Son has made an impressive start to life with LAFC, scoring eight goals and providing two assists for the MLS outfit. The Los Angeles franchise sit third in the Western Conference, one point off top spot, ahead of Monday's game against Austin FC.

Son, though, will sit out meeting with Austin owing to international duty. Indeed, the 33-year-old was called up to the South Korea squad for friendly meetings with South American sides Brazil and Paraguay. The former Spurs man started Friday's game against Brazil and came off after an hour in a disappointing evening for the Taegeuk Warriors.

Estevao and Rodrygo each scored a brace in the game in Seoul before Vinicius Junior added another late on as Brazil eased to a 5-0 friendly win.
