  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Phil Parkinson’s squad have been partying hard in the United States, as they enjoy VIP treatment, while a number of players attended the latest boxing masterclass put on by Mexican sensation Canelo Alvarez. There promises to be some sore heads by the hotel pool every morning, but will anybody do something they live to regret?

  • WHAT MULLIN SAID

The Hangover film trilogy sees a hapless group of friends pay two eventful visits to Vegas, while one of the stars gets a face tattoo during a wild night out in Bangkok. Asked which Wrexham star is most likely to get a similar inking, Mullin has told the Men In Blazers podcast: “I think it would be a few candidates, to be fair! Ollie [Palmer] might do it just because he gets a few funny looks from it, a few words out of everyone. I think there would be a few candidates after a couple of alcohols. It could definitely not be me, but quite a few people.”

    WHAT NEXT FOR WREXHAM?

There are no sign of tattoos, missing teeth or pet tigers borrowed from Mike Tyson just yet, which will come as a relief to McElhenney, Reynolds and Parkinson. They are preparing to put collective heads together over the coming weeks in a bid to unearth more hidden gems in the summer transfer window.
