According to <a href="https://as.com/futbol/primera/ferran-torres-caso-abierto-n/" target="_blank">AS</a>, the Spanish international's future is under the scanner as the Catalan club is preparing to sign <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/vitor-roque-date-set-brazilian-teenager-join-barcelona-athletico-paranaense/blt699a19975d74d4bf" target="_blank">Vitor Roque in January </a>who can play as a No. 9 and on the wings. Moreover, it is believed that the relationship between Torres' agents and Barcelona's technical staff is strained due to past incidents, and the departure of Mateu Alemany, the former sporting director who signed the forward, further complicates the situation.

He has three goals and an assist in his last five appearances with La Roja and believes that he should seek a fresh challenge where he will be more regular to remain in the good books of Luuis de la Fuente. And certainly staying at Barcelona, with the impending signing of Roque, will not help his cause.
