    Spain have once again asserted their dominance on the continental stage by winning their record fourth European Championship. Throughout the competition, Spain showcased their exceptional talent and strategic prowess, winning all seven of their matches, which culminated in a decisive win against England in the summit clash in Berlin.

    La Roja's dominance was also reflected in the UEFA Euro 2024 Team of the Tournament, with six Spanish players earning spots in the lineup. The final lineup was selected by UEFA's technical observer team, which included a panel of 12 former players and coaches. The panel chose to stick with a 4-3-3 formation, one of the most popular tactical setups used by several coaches during the course of the tournament.

    Despite their valiant efforts and reaching the final, only one England player made it to the Team of the Tournament - Kyle Walker. The experienced defender earned his place in the lineup for the second consecutive time, despite a disappointing performance in the showpiece against Spain.

    Marc Cucurella, Daniel Olmo, Rodri, Fabian Ruiz, Lamine Yamal, and Nico Williams were the six Spanish representatives. Two players from France were included in the form of Mike Maignan and William Saliba, who played crucial roles in their team's journey to the semi-finals. Switzerland's Manuel Akanji and Germany's Jamal Musiala were also recognised for their impressive performances.
