‘I can’t hear you!’ - Smirking Cristiano Ronaldo taunts rival fans and gives them a sarcastic thumbs up during Al-Nassr’s King Cup clash at Al-Shabab

During the contest, Ronaldo could be seen getting into a bit of a back and forth with the home Al-Shabab crowd. At first, the 38-year-old can be seen smiling, before giving them the thumbs up. The Portuguese international then goads them by calling for them to make more noise and sticking his finger in his ear. This is not the first time he has done something like this as he attempted to silence pro Lionel Messi chants from Al-Ettifaq supporters earlier this season.

Al-Nassr are seven points adrift of runaway Saudi Pro League leaders Al-Hilal and while overhauling them may be tough, they could still win some silverware in the King Cup as they are set for the semi-finals after beating Al-Shabab 5-2 on Monday. Ronaldo bagged his side's fourth as they eased to a comfortable victory.

That goal brought up the half-century for the Portuguese for 2023, and makes it 20 for the season with Al-Nassr. Ronaldo's side return to Saudi Pro League action on Friday against Al-Ettifaq in a battle between second and eighth.
