Leeds United defeated Norwich City 2-0 on Wednesday, with USMNT midfielder Brenden Aaronson getting the start in a big victory for the Whites. Fellow U.S. international Josh Sargent was a second half substitution for the Canaries, introduced in the 59th minute down two goals. However, the forward couldn't make anything happen as they pushed for a late goal.
Leeds' strikes came from wingers Daniel James and Manor Solomon, with the latter opening the scoring less than 60 seconds into the match.
With the win, the Whites remain atop the English Championship table with 59 points, leading second-place Sheffield United by just one point.
