Pulisic was on target in a 1-1 draw for the USMNT on Tuesday in a friendly against New Zealand. The AC Milan star bagged his 31st goal for his country but the Stars and Stripes were denied victory when New Zealand's Ben Waine fortunately equalized in the 89th minute. Melton paid tribute to boyfriend Pulisic after the game with a custom 'explicit content' T-shirt featuring the USMNT talisman and the caption "big fan".

Pulisic and Melton have been officially dating since the 2024 US Women’s Open and spent the summer enjoying time on holiday on the Turks and Caicos Islands as well as hitting the golf course together and cosying up on a jet ski.

Pulisic's goal against New Zealand ended a three-match run without a goal contribution for the USMNT. The Milan man has only ever gone four straight matches without a goal involvement once in his entire US career.

Pulisic will now work under Mauricio Pochettino with the USMNT after the former Chelsea boss was appointed as head coach. The 25-year-old has said "a lot of things need to change" within the national team set-up and has urged Pochettino to bring a "culture that is willing to fight".
