'The absolute final boss' - Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic lays down gauntlet to BVB stars as Champions League final against Real Madrid looms

Borussia Dortmund head into the Champions League final against Real Madrid, with Carlo Ancelotti's side appearing to be favourites, thanks to their form this season. However, another reason is Los Blancos' history in the competition and the fact that they have won their last eight finals in Europe's elite competition. However, Terzic and his men have no plans to roll over for the European elites.

Speaking to the media, Terzic said [via Sky Germany]: "The absolute final boss is waiting. We're breaking everything down to this one game. In a game, anything is possible. If anyone has shown that, it's us. It's time for this series (of Real Madrid), eight games, eight wins in finals, to end."

The last eight times Los Galacticos have advanced to the Champions League final, they have lifted the prestigious trophy. Their most recent appearance was against Liverpool in 2022, which they won 1-0, bringing their total number of Champions League triumphs to 14.

Terzic will be fully preparing his players with Die Schwarzgelben set to take on Real Madrid on June 1 at Wembley Stadium in the final club fixture of the season.
