Kelly received a pass on the left flank and did well to go past her marker before floating in a brilliant cross. Mead met the ball on the edge of the box and found the back of the net with a juicy volley. With the 14th-minute strike, the English forward completed his 50th Women's Super League goal for the Gunners in her 142nd league appearance.

Alessia Russo soon doubled her team's lead as the North London club went two goals up even before the half-hour mark.
