Indian Super League: Kerala Blasters hold Bangkok United to a stalemate

The Sachin Tendulkar co-owned Indian Super League (ISL) franchise from Kerala played a 0-0 draw on the eve of Onam

Kerala Blasters FC played out a goalless draw against Bangkok United FC (BUFC) in a pre-season friendly that took place in Thailand, on Wednesday, 14th August.

There were a few Keralites supporting their team from the stands despite it being the festival of Onam as Stephen Coppell's team are currently in their pre-season training at the Muang Thong Thani facility, in Thailand's capital, before having the second phase of their pre-season in Kerala ahead of the ISL season 3.

Having defeated Big Bang Chula United Football Club (BBCU FC) 3-1 on Monday, the Blasters remain undefeated in two of their three scheduled friendlies in  with another friendly on the cards against Pattaya United FC on September 18th. Pattaya United will consist of a mix of players from Pattaya United and BBCU FC.

Kerala Blasters will face NorthEast United FC in the opener of the ISL season 3 that will be hosted by the Indira Gandhi Athletic stadium in Guwahait, Assam, on October 1st.
