Indian Super League - FC Goa sign youngster Sukhadev Patil as third goalkeeper

FC Goa have signed Minerva Academy F.C. goalkeeper, Sukhadev Patil for the third edition of the Indian Super League (ISL).

As Goal had earlier revealed, the Gaurs signed up experienced goalkeeper Subhasish Roy Choudhury and handed Laxmikant Kattimani a pay rise after his impressive display in season two of the competition. The Zico-coached team opted not to re-sign Elinton Andrade, whom they replaced with an outfield foreign player.  

Patil was initially part of the Pune FC Academy before opting to join the DSK Shivajians. He now plies his trade at up at Minerva Academy F.C. Patil was part of a 17-member squad who represented the country in the FAM-FRENZ Asia Champions Trophy and the SAFF U-19 Championships in 2015.
