Indian Super League: Chris Dagnall of Kerala Blasters scores the fastest ever ISL goal

The former Leyton Orient striker has dazzled in patches throughout the competition and has now got his name included in the record books.

Kerala Blasters striker Chris Dagnall became the scorer of the fastest goal in the Indian Super League (ISL) history when he hit the back of the net on the 29th second in his team's encounter against NorthEast United at Guwahati.

The Liverpool born player bettered the record his teammate Mohammed Rafi, who scored in the 48th second in Blasters' match against FC Pune City a few weeks ago. Co-incidentally, the goal was assisted by Dagnall.

Wim Raymaekers, the Dutch defender, had scored the fastest goal in the first edition of the competition, which is now the third on the list.
