NorthEast United ave suffered a triple blow as three foreign players have been ruled out of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2015-16 season. 

Skipper Miguel Garcia suffered a Bilateral Achilles Tendinopathy along with posterior impingement in their opening Indian Super League (ISL) clash against Kerala Blasters on October 6, 2015. The 32-year-old had to be substituted in the 27th minute and wasn’t part of the squad that suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to FC Pune City.

Meanwhile, Zambian midfielder Kondwani Mtonga suffered a medial miniscus injury in their pre-season friendly against Lansing FC before their match against Kerala Blasters.

Striker Boubacar Sanogo had a tear in his quadriceps during a training session.
