Kerala Blasters edge past Mohammedan

The Sachin Tendulkar co-owned side didn’t have the best of outings against the Kolkata outfit…

Kerala Blasters maintained their perfect record in the pre-season as they downed Mohammedan Sporting 1-0 at the Corporation Stadium, Thrissur on Saturday. This was a side which was beaten 7-0 by Delhi Dynamos earlier this week.

In what was their fourth practice game before the inaugural edition of the Indian Super League (ISL), CS Sabeeth scored the only goal of the game inside the opening ten minutes.

Michael Chopra wasn’t given a run-in while Iain Hume was only introduced in the second half in what was a lackluster performance from the southern outfit.

Kerala Blasters are expected to undergo their final preparation for the new season in Goa starting October 1, 2014.
