It was claimed on Thursday that the Paraguay international will move to China at the end of the season, having allegedly signed a four-year contract with the Super League outfit, who have reportedly agreed to meet the player's €12 million release clause.
Bild has now revealed that Barrios will earn €6.7m per season, which would constitute a massive pay rise given the forward is currently on €2.5m a year at the Westfalenstadion.
Barrios, for his part, insists that with Dortmund currently bidding to retain their Bundesliga title, money is the last thing on his mind: "Until the end of the season, I am concentrating only on Borussia."
Meanwhile, the German champions have, according to Sport-Bild, identified Wolfsburg's Sebastian Polter as a potential replacement. The 20-year-old striker is under contract until 2014 but is said to be unhappy with his club's unwillingness to give him a pay rise.
