The Khalid Jamil coached outfit have zeroed in on two foreigners who have a lot of experience of playing in the subcontinent...

Mumbai FC have roped in DPR Korean defender Minchol Son and are in advanced talks to sign Liberian attacker Eric Brown for the 2015-16 season, Goal can reveal.

Sources in the know of things informed that while Minchol has already signed on the dotted line, Eric's signature is expected in the next few days.

Son has been the pillar of Shillong Lajong's defense for the last three seasons and has played 61 I-League matches in that period. For the last two seasons, he was also the captain of the Reds.

Eric Brown, on the other hand, was the highest scoring midfielder in the 2013-14 I-League and played a pivotal role in United Sports Club avoiding the drop. The following summer he was signed by Pune FC, but his contract was unceremoniusly scrapped by the Red Lizards when they decided to sign Edgar Marcelino before the I-League. Eric played for United in the second division I-League and once again impressed while plying his trade for Police AC in the Calcutta Football League this year.

The duo are expected to join the squad later this month.
