Official: Juventus Farm Mario Kirev Out On Loan To Timisoara

The Bulgarian goalkeeper has left the Turin giants on a temporary basis as he aims to gain valuable first team experience elsewhere
Juventus have announced on their official website that goalkeeper Mario Kirev has left the club for a loan spell with Timisoara. The 22-year-old shot stopper has signed a contract until the end of the season with the Romanian side.

Kirev joined Juventus from Slavia Sofia in January 2009 after impressing during a trial period at the Turin powerhouse.

However, the Bulgarian glovesman has been unable to break into the first team and was sent on loan to clubs such as Grasshopper and Thun over the course of the past two years.

The chances of Kirev earning much playing time at Juventus this term were minimal and he has therefore opted to leave the club on a temporary basis.

Timisoara finished second in the Romanian top flight in 2010-11, but they were relegated to the second division after they were refused a licence to play in the top tier due to financial problems.
