Sao Paulo ace Lucas Piazon has confirmed his ambition to join Juventus after holding talks with the Italian club's directors in Turin as Chelsea are left out in the cold.
Piazon has not been immune to interest from several clubs, including Chelsea, but it seems Juventus are favourites to sign him in future after spending the week training at Vinovo.
"[Juventus?] I hope so. Juventus are one of the greatest clubs in the world and I am proud to be able to become one of their players," the 17-year-old told Tuttosport.
"My dream is to score goals and make the fans happy. I have already met players. Felipe Melo and Amauri said hello and I had a photograph with Alessandro Del Piero."
Juventus are expected to close the deal with Sao Paulo for between €4-6 million, with Piazon expected to pen a deal in January 2012.
Contrary to previous reports, the Brazilian has not signed a pre-contract agreement with Juve, but he did open dialogue with their chiefs.
"We have not signed any agreement," said the player's mother Marizabel.
Piazon will be watching Juve's Coppa Italia quarter-final with Roma tonight before heading back to Brazil. La Gazzetta dello Sport has likened him to Real Madrid ace Kaka.
They report he may even arrive in June as Juve are pushing to get him an EU passport after it emerged the player's father has Italian heritage.
