New Flamengo signing Ronaldinho was welcomed to his new club by 20,000 fans as he was officially presented to the media and supporters today.
The former Milan and Barcelona playmaker was very emotional at his unveiling.
"I've imagined many ways to return to Brazil, but none came close to what I have experienced here today, the 30-year-old said during a press conference attended by Goal.com Brazil.
"It's very emotional. I never felt so motivated to do what I can do best, that is playing football. I look forward to playing again.
"I'm so glad to be a Flamengo player and to wear the number 10. Great players used this number at Flamengo, like Zico, and I hope repay all this affection of the supporters here today by doing what I use to do best: play football.
"I want to take Flamengo's name as far as possible, winning titles and giving happiness to this huge crowd of Rubro-Negros."
Ronaldinho also admitted his return to Brazil has to do with him playing in the 2014 World Cup.
"It is my goal, playing again for Selecao. I decided to come to Brazil for it. I want to return to the national team and keep my place until the World Cup," he said.
"I made so many friends at Milan, It is a great club that has always treated me very well and I'm going to miss everyone there."
