AC Milan defeated Udinese 3-2 at San Siro on Friday evening to climb up to second in the table in Serie A. This was the Rossoneri's first win in any competition since their defeat to Inter in the Derby della Madonnina but their joy was tempered as central defender Thiago Silva had to be substituted five minutes before half-time with a muscle problem.
Speaking after the match to Sky Sport Italia, the Brazilian merely said this about his condition, "How am I? So-so."
When asked if he will play against Manchester United, the 25-year-old said, "We will see tomorrow. I have a contracture of the muscle."
Milan take on Manchester United in the first leg of their last 16 tie on Tuesday night at San Siro.
