Fernando Muslera's agent, Daniel Fonseca, has said that he is confident of negotiating a new deal with Lazio president Claudio Lotito to keep the Uruguayan goalkeeper at the Rome-based club.Negotiations over new terms have been on-going. Muslera's current deal expires in 2011, having signed a four-year contract back in 2007 when he arrived from Montevideo Wanderers after having spent time on loan at Nacional. Fonseca is hoping his man gets the deal he wants to stay in the capital."I hope everything goes for the best. I have spoken to Lotito, and I hope there are no surprises," Fonseca told Sky Sport Italia."We have been speaking to the president and there have been important signs. He knows our will is to proceed with Lazio."Reports claim that Manchester United are keen on the goalkeeper, and Lotito seemingly wants to used these talks to insert a big buy-out clause into the player's deal.Salvatore Landolina, Goal.com
