Federation Cup: Kailo Karpeh To Make His Debut For Sporting Clube De Goa Against Air India

Sporting Clube de Goa coach Ekendra Singh is all set to hand Kailo Karpeh his first start as the Goan side face the Air India challenge at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata

"Kailo Karpeh will play against Air India," the Manipuri informed Goal.com that the 24-year-old striker signed in the Asian player's category will make it in his line-up.

"I have faith in him (Kailo) and I think he will do well. The whole team is ready for the Federation Cup," said Ekendra.

The Liberian-Australian, who is brother to former Churchill Brothers player Boima Jerry Karpeh, previously played for Jubilee FC in Liberia after plying his trade with Bayswater FC and Forrestfield United in Western Australia.

Meanwhile, James Moga is yet to get a clearance from South Sudan to make his way to India to join the Goan unit.

"He (Moga) is still held up due to his visa formalities," confirmed the club's CEO Victor Fernandes. "We would have registered him for the Federation Cup had he been here by now."
