Coritiba's prolific 19-year-old forward Keirrison is on the verge of a switch to Spanish side Valencia, according to reports in the Spanish media.
Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Palermo have also been tracking the youngster, but Valencia are said to be top of the pile after tabling a €12 million bid.
Resurgent Premier League side Liverpool are said to be hot on the heels of Los Che. They've faxed a lesser bid, but are offering the player himself a more substantial contract.
The Brazilian league doesn't end till December 7, so more developments are expected after that date. Real Madrid supremo Ramón Calderón recently revealed that Los Blancos will be signing two young players this winter, and speculation is rife that Keirrison will be one of them.
The race is still wide open, it would appear. In any case, it seems as though talented Keirrison will soon be granted his wish: to play in one of Europe's elite leagues.
