After suffering a 4-1 defeat to Turkish Under-19 team, India Under-17 bounced back in style as they downed SuperSports United’s Under-18 side 5-2.

India took the lead in the 19th minute when Suresh scored from a corner-kick. Six minutes before the half-time whistle, India doubled their advantage with Ninthoi converting after latching on to a long pass by Dheeraj.

After the break, the South African outfit scored a couple of quick goals to level the scores.

However, a minute before the hour mark, Aniket Jadhav scored the third for India before turning provider for Komal in the 64th minute as India restored their two-goal advantage.

In the 74th minute, Saurabh added his name on the score-sheet as he picked up a long pass from Sanjeev.
