Sukhwinder Singh and Tyson Ciado have signed for East Bengal for the upcoming season.
Sukhwinder, had last played in the I-League for Pune FC back in the 2012-13 season. Thereafter he signed for IMG-Reliance to be a part of the players draft for the inaugural edition of the Indian Super League (ISL). However, following its postponement he didn't play professional football for a year and his contract with IMG-Reliance wasn't renewed this season.
"I have signed for East Bengal today to play in this season," said Sukhwinder.
Tyson, was part of the Dempo squad last year, but failed to make a single appearance in the I-League. His last appearance in the country's top division league came on 24th November 2012, when he played in the 1-0 victory over Air India.
On Thursday, East Bengal played a practice match against City A.C. and registered a 7-1 victory, courtesy goals from Jiten Murmu (3), Kishen Bag (2), Mehtab Hossain and Dipanakar Roy.
