Bharat FC, the latest addition to 2014-15's I-League, have signed Lester Fernandez and Nallappan Mohanraj for the remainder of the season, Goal can reveal.
Both players are fresh from winning the Indian Super League (ISL), as they were part of the victorious Atletico de Kolkata squad. Incidentally, the duo have experience of playing in the city of Pune having represented Pune FC in the past.
Lester Fernandez has played for five different teams in his career and his most memorable stint came with Pune FC back in 2010-12.
Mohanraj, on the other hand played second fiddle to Biswajit Saha as the left-back in the Red and White colours and got first team opportunities only after the latter got injured.
Like Lester, Mohanraj had also signed a deal with Mumbai Tigers last year, before the team decided not to take part in the I-League and were disbanded. He spent the latter half of the season on loan at Sporting Clube de Goa.
The two players are expected to join the rest of the squad after Christmas, according to sources close to Goal.
