Bharat FC, the new entrants of the I-League, have signed six players from the Indian Super League (ISL) franchises, Goal can confirm.
The Pune side have roped in seasoned India international Gouramangi Singh on loan from Chennaiyin FC, with the experienced center-back also expected to be named the captain of the side.
Within a week of striking a deal with former Mumbai FC goalkeeper Shahin Lal. It seems that their goalkeeping contingent is now ready, with Harshad Meher, the former Sporting Clube de Goa custodian also participating in practice sessions.
Manish Maithani, Israil Gurung and Mehrajuddin Wadoo, who were regular members of the ISL's Pune franchise, would have an extended stay in the city with Bharat FC roping the trio.
Singam Subhash Singh, the Mumbai City striker is also part of Bharat FC's rosters now while Delhi Dynamos' Adil Khan, who was released midway by Mohun Bagan last season is now back with the I-League's newest club.
The team will not participate in the ensuing Federation Cup and hence have almost a month to go before they play their first match in the I-League.
