Mohun Bagan have signed Pierre Boya ahead of the 2014-15 I-League campaign. The Cameroon national has enjoyed a career in leagues across Europe. Boya will be the Third Foreign recruit for the Mariners this summer.
The striker was engaged with FC Kukesi in the Albanian Superliga before Bagan swooped in for his signature. Prior to that, he represented various clubs in the European circuit including FK Partizan popularly known as Partizan Belgrade in the Serbian Superliga.
During his stay with FK Partizan, Boya represented them in the 2004–05 UEFA Cup and also scored both goals to clinch a 2–2 away draw against Lazio.
In the summer of 2007, Boya was transferred to Rapid București, Romania. However, he returned to FK Partizan for his second stint in 2010 on a one and a half year deal, after the club qualified for the 2010–11 UEFA Champions League.
In August 2012, Boya joined Danish Superliga side Randers FC for the rest of the 2012–13 season. He joined Albanian club Kukësi for the following year.
Boya has also represented the Cameroon national team, making four appearances between 2005 and 2007.
