‘You will always be remembered’ - Ahmed Musa reacts to Victor Moses' Nigeria retirement

Ahmed Musa has said that Victor Moses ‘will always be remembered’ after the Chelsea forward announced his international retirement from Nigeria duty.

On Wednesday, the 27-year-old disclosed that he will be calling time on his career with the Super Eagles to focus on his family and club.

Moses scored 12 goals in 37 appearances in his six-year stint with the Super Eagles, winning 2013 African Cup of Nations and featuring in two World Cup outings.

In his reaction, the new Al Nassr player is delighted to have played along the former Liverpool man and wish him well in his future endeavour.

“It was a pleasure to play alongside such a great player,” Musa tweeted.

“You have served your nation well and will always be remembered. Good luck in all you do Victor Moses”

Nigeria face Seychelles in an African Cup of Nations qualifier - without the former Wigan Athletic player - on September 8.
