World Cup 2018 Group G: Fixtures, standings, squads & full details on England & Belgium group

England have the benefit of heading to Russia with virtually no expectations around the team unlike previous tournaments, and Belgium's squad is equipped with plenty of individual talent in the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard.

Tunisia and Panama join them in Group G and could very well stage an upset.

Goal will take a look at the rundown of the fixtures, as well as what to expect from each team and more.

Belgium cruised to a 3-0 victory over Panama following a spectaular Dries Mertens volley and a double from Romelu Lukaku.

Harry Kane was the two-goal hero for England, who needed a stoppage-time header to defeat a stubborn Tunisia side.

Gareth Southgate's side had been dominant in possession and took a deserved lead from a set piece, but were pegged back after having a penalty given and scored against them midway through the first half.

Roberto Martinez's Belgium remained top of Group G following their 5-2 win over Tunisia, with goals from Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku (who scored two apiece) and Michy Batshuayi. Should England win against Panama but fail to beat Belgium's' goal difference, Belgium will progress through to the next round first in their group.

England produced a dominant first-half performance against Panama in which they scored five goals before simmering to a more human pace to triumph 6-1 and qualify for the last 16. Harry Kane scored three times, John Stones scored twice, and Jesse Lingard scored a wonderful effort from outside the box, with Felipe Baloy bagging a consolation goal for the CONCACAF side.

Belgium won 1-0 over England to top Group G afer a strike by Adnan Januzaj, ending the Three Lions' unbeaten run in the group stage. Belgium will now face Japan in the last 16, who finished as runners-up in Group H, while England will now have the unenviable task of clashing with Colombia.

Tunisia defeated Panama in the other Group G game.
