Independiente striker Leandro Fernandez had a moment to forget during his side's tie at Deportes Iquique on Thursday.
The ball was flashed across the face of goal, into Fernandez's path, with the goalkeeper stranded at the near post.
Instead of tucking the ball away into the empty net, however, the forward nudged the ball wide with his studs.

Luckily for Independiente, they eventually won the game 2-1.
