Ulinzi Stars will play their first match of the season on Saturday

Ulinzi Stars will be playing against Kariobangi Sharks this weekend in a Kenyan Premier League match for the first time.

The newly promoted Kariobangi Sharks have played twice this season, and lost all with the soldiers failing to go past the second round of the Caf Confederation Cup tournament. Despite coming into the match as favorites, Coach Benjamin Nyagweso expects a tough match.

"We cannot say that we will win this match because we understand that K.Sharks are desperate for maximum points. We have to prepare well and give our best, honestly, we cannot underrate them. It is going to be our first match this season and we have to start the season well," he told Goal.

Nyangweso officially took over from former coach Rober Matano at the end of 2016 and his main objective is to help the team secure league title this season.
