UEFA Europa League Matchday five: Highlights

Here are the highlights as the big teams got into the thick of things in the UEFA Europa League....

Several big teams were in action in Europe on Thursday as matchday five of the UEFA Europa League came to a conclusion. There were wins for Chelsea, Arsenal and Milan.   

Here are the highlights from them:

1) Vorskla 0-3 Arsenal:  Arsenal will go into the Europa League knockout phase as Group E winners thanks to a comfortable 3-0 triumph over Vorskla with a much-changed team in Kiev on Thursday.

2) Chelsea 4-0 PAOKOlivier Giroud's first-half double set up a comfortable 4-0 home win over 10-man PAOK in which Callum Hudson-Odoi opened his Chelsea account, Maurizio Sarri's side topping Group L after extending their run of wins to five matches.

3) AC Milan 5-2 Dudelange: AC Milan avoided humiliation as they came from behind to beat unheralded Dudelange 5-2 and stay well within reach of the Europa League knockout rounds.

4) Standard Liege 1-0 SevillaLaLiga outfit Sevilla were stunned by Standard Liege, leaving them having to match Liege's result in the final matchday if they are to qualify. 

5) Rangers 0-0 VillarrealRangers retain control over their Europa League destiny after surviving with 10 men in the second half to earn a 0-0 draw with Villarreal at Ibrox.
