The Turkish outfit have set sights on securing full ownership of the midfielder at the end of his current loan spell

Kayserispor president Erol Bedir has revealed their desire to sign Atletico Madrid loanee Bernard Mensah on a permanent contract.

The midfielder joined the Anatolian Star in a season-long deal from the Rojiblancos, having prior had a similar short-term stint with Super Lig side Kasimpasa.
So far this term, the 24-year-old, who is currently out injured, has made 22 league appearances involving 21 starts and three goals.
"The player has been on loan to our team since last summer," Bedir said, as reported by Sabah Spor.
"Our contract ends at the end of the season. He has two more years of contract with Atletico Madrid.
"For us, there is only one possibility.
"We want to negotiate with Atletico about his permanent transfer."
Since joining Atletico from Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes in 2015, the Mensah has had to spend each season away on loan due to limited opportunities at Wanda Metropolitano.
Upon his arrival in Spain, the Ghana international was immediately farmed out to Getafe, where he only managed eight La Liga appearances.
He then moved back to Guimaraes for the 2016-17 season, before heading for Kasimpasa, where he netted five league goals in 30 appearances involving 25 starts.
