Faith Ikidi says Pitea will seize the chance to reach their first ever Swedish Women's Cup final when they battle Rita Chikwelu's Kristianstad on Saturday.
Stellan Carlsson's side crushed their last four opponents, scoring 22 goals and conceded only once.
Having emerged Damallsvenskan champions in 2018, Pitea are looking to replicate the feat in the national champions but must pip Kristianstad at LF Arena.
And the Nigeria defender, who played a vital role in the team's title success last season, is poised to inspire her side to breaking their final place jinx.
"I think determination, hard work and the grace of God have helped us reach the semi-final this year," Ikidi told Goal.
"I already knew that we will meet either Rita [Chikwelu] or Ogonna [Chukwudi] at the draw. So, when we heard we were given Rita's team, we just accepted the challenge and prepare towards it.
"This match is very important to us. It is not our first time reaching the semi-final but we've never gone beyond this stage.
"We have prepared as a team and as individuals, because this is our chance to reach the final, so we are approaching the game with all seriousness. We have trained hard for them.
"We are the reigning league champions and I believe we have what it takes to beat any team. It will take courage, self-confidence and hard work for us to win."
