Eight Kenyan Premier League matches will be played in different venues across the country on Wednesday.
With Gor Mahia already crowned, the main battle will be in the bottom of the table where about four teams are fighting the axe.
17th placed Wazito FC will tackle the in-form Kariobangi Sharks hoping to get maximum points and maintain their survival hopes. If the Frank Ouna led side slip and fall against the Sharks and the teams above them wins, then they will join the already relegated Thika United with two matches to go.
Another battle will be at Mumias Complex where Vihiga United will be aiming at stamping their stay in the top tier for another season. Vihiga are currently on thirty-four points and need just three points from the remaining three matches to be safe. However, they will have to work harder if they are to get something from champions Gor Mahia.
Nzoia Sugar will face Nakumatt FC at Camp Toyoyo; the Nicholas Muyoti led side won the match against Thika United last weekend and will need a point to ensure they are safe.
Relegated Thika United will host Chemelil Sugar on Thursday hoping to cause an upset against a Francis Baraza led side that is aiming at staying in the league. The following is an official fixture as posted on the KPL official portal.
