Australian goalkeeper Danny Vukovic will head to Russia full of confidence after his first season in Europe with Belgium side Genk ended with them sealing Europa League qualification.
The Socceroos keeper capped of his 45th game of the season with a clean sheet as Genk beat Zulte Waregem 2-0 in a Europa League playoff.
It was a strong season on the whole for Genk, who finished the regular season fifth and made it to the Cup final before losing 1-0 to Standard.

Elsewhere, Australian midfielder Ryan Williams tasted sweet success at Wembley as his English club Rotherham sealed promotion to the Championship by beating Shrewsbury 2-1.
Williams came on in the 75th minute and almost won the game in regular time as he forced a fine save from Dean Henderson but it wouldn't matter in the end as Richard Wood struck an extra time winner for Rotherham.

This time four years ago, Jason Davidson was about to play in the World Cup for Australia, and though he's fallen off the radar somewhat, the defender is bouncing back after a successful loan in Slovenia with Olimpija Ljubljana.
His club salvaged a 1-1 draw with Domzale in the final game of the season, which put them level on points with Maribor at the top of the SNL table, and despite having an inferior goal difference, they sealed the league title due to having a better record against Maribor throughout the season.
On loan from Croatian side Rijeka, Davidson made 12 appearances for Olimpija scoring one goal as he got some much needed minutes under his belt after a lean few years.
