Simba have reportedly joined the race to sign Lipuli FC attacking midfielder Adam Salamba.

The player who is also a Yanga target is understood to be on Simba's radar after his club set a Tsh. 50m price tag last week.

Yanga requested to use Salamba in the CAF Confederation Cup a move that was rejected by Lipuli.

Speaking to Goal, Simba’s General Secretary, Said Tully said that they need to sign another attacking player with the future of Juma Luizio and Laudit Mavugo in jeopardy.

“We are in a good position to complete Salamba deal, he is a good player who can replace two departing strikers, Mavugo and Luizio and I think we need a few more days to complete his transfer,” said Tully.
