AFC Leopards suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat against Tusker FC in a Kenyan Premier League match played in Machakos on Wednesday.
Goals from Sydney Ochieng, Marlon Tangauzi, Boniface Muchiri and Jackson Macharia were enough for the brewers to complete a double against Ingwe. Head coach Rodolfo Zapata has explained the reason behind the defeat.
“We started the match well, played our game in the first about twenty-thirty minutes. In the process we created about three good chances that we did not take and in football, if you do not take your chances, then you are in a problem and that is what happened.
“Our overall performance has also gone down, we did not play the way we do; the attitude was not there at all and that affected us. I want to give everyone a chance to show what he has to offer before I submit my final report,” Zapata told Goal.
There are two rounds of matches remaining before the season comes to a close.
