Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos will host the final of 2017 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup.

The regional body was yet to pick a venue for the final set for Sunday (December 17). FKF official Barry Otieno has confirmed to Goal that the organizers’ have settled for Machakos to host the final.

“We were yet to agree on where the final will be played but it is now official that Machakos will stage the same.”

Kisumu City will stage semi-final matches pitting Kenya against Burundi and Uganda v Zanzibar on Thursday. Kenya made it to the last four with a 1-0 win over Tanzania on Monday to join, Zanzibar, Burundi and Uganda.

The tournament attracted nine countries. Rwanda, South Sudan, Libya, Ethiopia and Tanzania failed in the first hurdle.
