PSV and Rangers are one match away from securing a place in the Champions League group stage. The Dutch and Scottish side played out a 2-2 draw in the first leg of their play-off tie at Ibrox last week and meet again in Eindhoven on Wednesday to conclude the match-up.

The Scottish side slipped up at the weekend by drawing 2-2 with Hibs in the Premiership, while PSV have not played since their trip to Glasgow as they did not have an Eredivisie game at the weekend.

PSV vs Rangers first goal scorer

Luuk de Jong is the favourite to net the first goal of the game, with the PSV striker available at odds of 15/4 (4.75), while team-mate Cody Gakpo is 5/1 (6.0) to strike first.

PSV vs Rangers preview

Rangers star Alfredo Morelos will not be part of the squad for this match after being sent off less than 15 minutes after coming off the bench in the clash against Hibs on Saturday.

Coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst confirmed that issues with the striker's "fitness and attitude" were behind the decision.

"As a manager it was an easy [decision]. In my eyes it was the best to take the squad we have," he told reporters.

PSV are in a bit of a crisis heading into this match. They will be without six players for the clash at the Philips Stadion.

Fredrik Oppegaard, Richard Ledezma, Mauro Junior and Yorbe Vertessen are also missing while Noni Madueke and Olivier Boscagli are long-term absences.

PSV vs Rangers tips and predictions

There have been plenty of goals involving each of these teams so far this season, as was the case in the first leg last week, so backing over 2.5 goals at 4/6 (1.67) looks a smart bet, while both teams to score is available at the same price.
