The Brazil goalkeeper recently completed a move to Anfield and William Hill have a range of markets available ahead of his first season in England

Alisson is 13/8 (2.62) to keep 20 or more clean sheets in his debut season at Liverpool and the same price to keep more than international teammate Ederson.

The Brazilian recently completed a £66 million move from Roma – the most expensive transfer fee for a goalkeeper ever - and will replace Loris Karius as the Reds’ number one stopper.

Ahead of Alisson’s Premier League debut, William Hill are offering a variety of markets including how many clean sheets he will keep in the season.

The 13/8 (2.62) quote on 20 or more is the shortest price in the market, whilst 18 or 19 shutouts is priced at 5/2 (3.50).

Alisson kept 17 clean sheets at Roma last season and a repeat, or one fewer, is offered at 9/4 (3.25), with 11-15 available to back at 9/2 (5.50) and under 11 way out at 14/1 (15.0).

The bookmaker also offers a match bet between Alisson and his Manchester City compatriot Ederson on who will concede the fewest Premier League goals next term.

City are just 8/13 (1.62) to claim back-to-back Premier League titles and Liverpool are second-favourites at 9/2 (5.50), and with both sides boasting stern attacks, defence could be the key to the title.

After shipping just 27 goals last season, Ederson is unsurprisingly 4/9 (1.44) favourite and Alisson, who conceded 28 times with Roma in 2017-18, is 13/8 (2.62) but will take significant improvement from Liverpool’s defence.

Indeed, the Reds’ backline let in 38 goals last term, although they considerably improved following the signing of Virgil van Dijk and adding Alisson to that should only help those statistics.

Finally, William Hill are taking bets on the most goals conceded by the Brazilian in a single match. Zero or one is available at a huge 50/1 (51.0), two is 6/4 (2.50) and three is the favourite at 11/10 (2.10).

Exactly four goals can be backed at 4/1 (5.0) whilst five or more, as happened to Liverpool last term when they were humiliated 5-0 by Man City, is priced at 8/1 (9.0).
