But the Harambee Stars forward now target at least double the amount even as he remains hopeful that his effort will help Sofapaka break the nine-year duck and finally clinch their first KPL title since 2009.

“I have set my targets for the new season and the number of goals I want to score. I want to be among the top scorers. If I will not be the best then at least, I should not be outside the top two. It is an achievable target and I have set myself out to hunt down the goals,” Mutamba was quoted by the club website.

Mutamba recently scored against Mauritius, both at home and away to help Emerging Stars sail to the second round of the Afcon U-23 qualifiers.
