Olunga scored twice to seal a 2-1 victory for Kenya against DRC

Guizhou Zhicheng striker Michael Olunga scored a brace for Harambee Stars to ensure a 2-1 win over DR Congo on Sunday at Machakos Stadium.

The former Gor Mahia forward utilized Brian Mandela’s pass in the first-half and Samuel Onyango’s cross in the second half to hand coach Stanley Okumbi a sweet victory over The Leopards.

He has taken to his facebook page to thank God for the goals after he explained his celebration style witnessed against Uganda on Thursday and against DRC three days later. Remember he also scored against the Cranes in Kenya’s 1-1 draw.

“This is my time to showcase my talent and score goals. Many people feared that my quality would go down when I joined Guizhou Zhicheng and I think it is my time to prove them wrong.”

Football Kenya Federation have confirmed that Harambee Stars will host Malawi in April.
