Odion Ighalo was on target for Changchun Yatai in their 3-0 victory over Guizhou Hengfeng in Saturday’s Chinese Super League encounter.

Nemanja Pejcinovic then increased the lead in the 51st minute after benefitting from Long Tan’s assist. Three minute later, Pengfei Han was sent off after picking his second booking and Yatai soon capitalised on their numerical advantage by adding the third goal through Adrian Mierzejewski.

The victory propelled Chen Jingang’s men to the sixth spot in the log with 29 points from 22 games.

They face Shanghai SIPG in their next league game on September 22 and Ighalo will be looking to continue his imperative performance for the side.
