Niger Tornadoes will play at least three friendly matches in preparation for July 18's encounter versus leaders Lobi Stars, a club official has disclosed.

They will continue their preparations against Ibrahim Babangida University side on Wednesday in Lapai before hosting Nigeria Nationwide League side KK United at the Bako Kontagora Stadium two days later in Minna.
On Saturday, July 15, the Minna-based outfit will welcome John Ukata Football Academy and head coach Hamza Abara explains the importance of these test games.
“The main reason for this friendly matches is to get the lads back to shape and get ready for the clash against the league leaders Lobi Stars," Abara told media.
"It also an avenue for the team to perfect our tactics. Apart from playing Lobi Stars here in Minna, we are also looking forward to the match against Heartland FC which we are taking with all seriousness because early in the season, they got the maximum point," he concluded.
