Neeskens Kebano ends goal drought as 10-man Fulham crumble vs. Brentford

Neeskens Kebano’s goal was not enough for 10-man Fulham as they were on the receiving end of a 3-1 comeback victory from Brentford at Griffin Park in Saturday’s English Championship encounter.

The 25-year-old started the game alongside Sheyi Ojo - playing in his third game since his return from injury. And it was the former PSG attacking midfielder that got the curtain raiser for the visitors in the 25th minute.

Kebano benefitted from a Ryan Fredericks assist for his third league goal of the season - with his last strike coming in their 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest on September 26.

Eight minutes later, Sergi Canos levelled for Dean Smith’s side.

Moments after the interval, Romaine Sawyers put the hosts ahead for the first time in the tie before Fulham defender Denis Odoi was sent off.

Ollie Watkins made sure the points were safe for the Bees with his strike on the 85th minute to seal a 3-1 victory for his side.

Kebano - in his 16th league appearance this term - was on parade for 63 minutes while Anglo-Nigerian Ojo - unable to add to his two-goal tally in 10 games - was substituted immediately after Slaviša Jokanović’s side conceded the third goal.

The Craven Cottage outfit, now dropped to 15th in the log, will host Birmingham City in their next English second division encounter on December 9.
