Following a good spell under Head Coach Pierre Lechantre, Simba Midfielder Jonas Mkude looks set to earn a contract extension at the end of the season.
Mkude still has one year left on his current deal but Lechantre has urged the management to have Mkude sign a deal as soon as possible.
Speaking to Goal, Mkude said that the Coach has shown a lot of respect towards him and wants him to stay, something that he couldn't deny.
“The Coach wants me to stay here and I will start the discussions over a new contract at the end of the season,” said Mkude.
Mkude was not a first team regular under Joseph Omog but has become an important member of the squad under Lechantre.
