Mike Mururi lauds Kakamega Homeboyz after Tusker win

Goals from Esto Esiye and Allan Wanga were enough to hand visiting Kakamega Homeboyz maximum points against formless Tusker FC.

The brewers came into the match hoping to get something from the game after back to back defeats, however that was not the case as Robert Matano slumped to a third defeat in a row.

Homeboyz coach Mike Mururi has lauded his charges for a good game that ensured victory belongs to them.

“The determination and hunger was seen right from the first whistle, we were determined to get maximum points and that is exactly what we did. Our plan was to press them and be cautious when they have the ball, and I am glad we executed it well.

“We are still in it, we want to give our best in the remaining assignments and see where we will finish.”

Kakamega is seventh on twenty-four points after seventeen matches.
